(Auto)biography

My name is Dariusz Kubok, and I am someone who thrives on the interplay of diverse passions and interests. I believe it is enriching for a person to inhabit heterogenous worlds, to embrace different discourses and styles. This openness to varied voices stimulates sensitivity and movement, often resulting in a creative tension and an activist approach to life. Dwelling in multiple worlds means allowing them to converse, inspire, and even amaze one other. Within this multiplicity, we seek to discover a sense of order and understanding—or at least to strive for a critical, creative, and sensitive navigation through the uncertain world.

I am a philosopher, poet, traveler, Hellenophile, lecturer, editor, translator, music and film enthusiast, sports aficionado, and a vinyl collector. I lead workshops and training sessions, create developmental games, and design spaces for creative activity.

For reasons I can’t fully explain, I find myself drawn to combining emotional states like saudade, mono no aware, and fjaka with a love for humor, irony, and sarcasm—blending metaphysical grandeur with a somewhat unpretentious earthiness.

My life is a tapestry woven from elements of criticality, creativity, and sensitivity. I strive to reflect on these elements to understand their subtle interconnections.

It is the act of going, the act of searching, and the refusal to predetermine what I might find. For me, it encapsulates the spirit of exploration, discovery, and the embrace of the unknown that guides my life.
